I was bored and tried doodling in Photoshop. The doddling turned serious after a while, and Melvin's face showed up on my screen, like ... magic! Or not. Still, it started out as a doodle and then he was just.. there. 8D

I think he looks purty, even if it's just a simple sketch-y drawing.

And, no, I can't shade white hair no matter what I do, so just.. ignore it? ^^;

The colors gives this a soft an gentle look.

The headphones/earmufs?? doesn't look right to me. I sugest you use a refrence to get it just right. And the hair looks a little to flat without shading, but I guess that's dificult with white hair:P

:)

Yeah, I know, but this was just a doodle to make time go faster, so.. I didn't really feel like being an über-perfectionist. :P But thanks anyway, and, yes, I'll make sure to use reference for it next time. :D
Yes, the hair looks horrible, I know, but I have seriously no idea how to shade white hair. : S Any tips? ^^;

I think blue would be an natural choise(I see you've alreaddy used that by the way). But then again, white isn't a natural haircolor:P You should find a nice hair tutorial on anime hair, and just experiment with the colors. Browse in the category "resources - tutorials" and type inn "anime hair" in the search box in the upper right corner. Remenber that nothing is truly white (ore black) in nature. So the hair should probably be a very "white" shade of blue/grey. It also gives you the chanse to make highlights:)

Hope this helps!

Yes, it does help, thank you! :) I'll have to experiment more with white hair if I wanna keep Melvin as an OC... XD
